I need some help from someone who has had a Konica III apart in the area around the shutter speed ring and the focus ring. I was out on the weekend and had the aperture adjustment lever come off in my hand! The location and flimsiness of this lever has always been my only complaint with this otherwise superb camera. In taking a closer look at the lever there is a screw hole in it to accept what must be a very tiny screw. I could also hear what I am hoping is the screw, rattling around in the space under the shutter speed ring. There are three screws located around the circumference of the DOF ring that is located right next to the camera body, and houses that funky Konica film advance lever. I'm thinking that if I take out those three screws the whole assembly will come off, allowing me access to this screw connection which has clearly just come unscrewed. Anybody familiar with this? I would really love to get this camera back in operation. In the year that I've had it, its come to be one of my favourites.

Just thought I would put this up on the main board again. Maybe on a weekend the right person will see it?

Just to make head-up - probably no one has dealt with this specific issue, so you don't have any answers not because RFF is unfriendly hole.
As last resort I can recommend asking Greg Weber at webercamera.com, that's where I ended with broken aperture of KIII. He kindly answered my emails, but as there were parts broken I finally sent shutter to him.

Thanks for the response. I knew this would be an uncommon problem, so I wasn't sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for a comment. In my short time as a member, RFF has been absolutely great!
