Hi,

I have just got a film back that I have put through my S2 and the spacing is very erratic.
Luckily, there is only one overlap, but can anything be done to cure this?
It was a roll of 36, so I'm not sure if this has made it any worse or not.

Thanks for any advice.

Back in the '70s I had a Konica Auto S3 and it developed the same issue before falling completely to pieces (but is was a great camera). Recently I've read that the problem is to do with the rewind shaft requiring a lube i.e. there is friction that is not allowing the film to come out of the cassette easily, consequently the frames are starting to overlap. Not sure if this is the problem with your S2 but may be worth a look.

I will have to take a look at that, thanks.
I have an S3, but have never really been impressed with it.
The lens is not anywhere near as sharp as the S2 - I actually found my C35 to be sharper.
There is a lot of dust between the elements and I wonder if this is half the problem.
One day I will hopefully get around to sorting out!
