The Konica S3 requires a 1.35V Mercury battery. If I use a 1.5V Silver Oxide battery for an ASA 400 film, do I adjust the ASA up or down? Also, do you have other methods that work?

I use zinc-air hearing aid batteries in mine. You don't have to adjust exposure and they're real cheap at radio shack.

Nick: How long do these batteries last with average use?

Raid,
You could fit a diode under the battery compartment to regulate the voltage from the SR44, there is room and it's not too hard to do. PM me with your snailmail and I'll send you one.

A couple of months. It depends on how you shoot. The battery runs down when you have the cap off the camera because the meter is always on.
