A brand new CVS shop just opened a few blocks from where I work, and I stopped in to check them out. How could I ever resist "Free Cookies" for their Grand Opening? :)

I stopped at the photo counter and asked if they processed film, and I really expected them to say no, they were digital only. Surprise-surprise, she proudly pointed to a shiny new film processor, looks like a Noritsu, and quoted me something like $3.95 for a DO/CD, which is $1 and change less than at Walgreens. I'll definitely be trying them for processing.

I have had very good experiences with my local CVS. They have the equipment, it all depends on the tech behind the counter. Hopefully your experience is as good as mine.

I have had very good luck at both CVS and Walgreens, based on the technicians that were working the fancy machines at the times I have used them. One women at a CVS did a great job on a few rolls I had taken and wrote a note to me complimenting me on my photos. When she checked me out she told me she was so impressed with my images she spent a lot of time making sure she was doing everything as good as she can.

Just like taking the pictures, it is the indian not the arrow that makes the difference.

I guess like always, it depends on the tech. At my local CVS, some don't know they can develop only. Others don't know they can put in film the film canister (don't leave it there for days) and not cut the roll. Some demand you prove you are a student. Most try to accomdate you and give good service.

For the most part I am happy with my local CVS.
