OKAY, for those of us who have more than one camera - what's the one you would keep if the rest had to go? For me it would be my Leica R3 w/Elmirat 35mm f2.8 hands down. How about you?

Small enough to carry everywhere, a good lens and just enought high ISO performance to use indoors.

It's hard to tell b.c. it depends how all other cameras would go. Say, they get stolen and only one stays. Or tsunami would swipe all except one. Or I would have to sell them to have money for food. Or I'd donate them to museum. Talking without real ground under this isn't something I'd take seriously....

Of course this is a serious question. My problem is that I just can't answer it, they're all so lovely...

I love them all, but the M8 with its small 28mm elmarit asph will serve me well till death.

Very tough ........ my answer is a little odd but here goes, my M2 followed by my Nikon Fm3a. We all know about Leica M's and my M2 is just the best M I ever handled. But the FM3a is the ultimate serious film camera as far as I'm concerned. Nothing it can't do plus small and not heavy. And all my wonderful Nikor glass.

I think the answer to this would depend on the day you ask me. Today, it would be the M7+Summicron 35. On another day, maybe Nikon FM2+24mm or M9+Nokton 35/1.2. I'm moody that way.

This is a very tough question...if I had to choose right now, it would be my beloved M6 (TTL 0.85), followed closely by my X100. Which are followed very closely by my Hasselblad 501CM.

... likes film again.
For me it would depend on the availability of film if I would have enough time to think well about my decision. I use three different formats (4x5, 120, 135) so either my Technika, Rolleiflex or a Leica. If I have only minutes to decide (for example natural disaster) and face the possibility of losing everything else then it would be a Leica with 35mm Summilux-M pre-ASPH (and Noctilux if possible).

Ask me in a week
Just sold my D700 + lenses and replaced it with a Bessa R2a/40mm and a Fuji X100. Now if only the bloody postman would arrive, my Yashica is getting lonely hahaha
