I came across this Simera lens in Shanghai and borrowed it from the rental for one week during my stay in Suzhou and Chengdu.

The most intriguing feature that hit my interest is the design of the DOF indicator, which seems to be a copy and simulation of Alpa Kern Switar. It is interesting to visualize the focus range and renders a sense of manipulation.
What's more, its image quality worths praise, too. The photo results tend to be film tint. And the fast aperture of f/1.4 brings a dreamy bokeh, a gentle transition from the focus to the background.

An impressive shooting experience with this lens.

Nothing much more static than a cactus, but the afternoon light caught this one and gave this something, softened the uncompromising flesh while sharpening the teeth.
