Visual Huesca invited 111 photographers and musicians the world over to participate in an initiative titled, The Leap Photographs. Artists were asked to visually interpret texts from Ramon J. Sender's book, Memorias Bisiestas, to mark the 111th anniversary of his birth. The project contains a soundtrack with songs from musical groups such as Moriarty and Kalaña (Huesca), Devillins (Albuquerque, USA), Follow Silence (Albuquerque, USA) and singer Leah Leyva (Albuquerque, USA).

Visual Huesca invitó a 111 fotógrafos y músicos de todo el mundo a participar en una iniciativa titulada, Fotografías Bisiestas. Los artistas tenían que interpretar visualmente textos de Ramón J. Sender elegidos de su libro, Memorias Bisiestas, para conmemorar el 111 aniversario del nacimiento del escritor. La banda sonora de este proyecto tiene canciones de los grupos musicales Moriarty and Kalaña (Huesca), Devillins (Albuquerque, USA), Follow Silence (Albuquerque, USA) y la cantante Leah Leyva (Albuquerque, USA).

Dear all,

The Leap Year Photographs iniciative will be projected as the grand finale of the events taking place at the Imaginaria Spring Photography Festival in Castellón, Spain on June 2, 2012.


El proyecto, Fotografías Bisiestas, clausurará el Imaginaria Fotografía en Primavera Festival en Castellón, España el día 2 de junio de 2012.
