I just went to order some more Legacy Pro 400 from Freestyle and it's no longer listed on their site. They told me a month ago they had thousands upon thousands of rolls of the stuff. If I knew they were running short on stock I would have ordered many more rolls than I did.

I can't afford to pay for Neopan 400 or 1600 at it's new price point!

:bang:Noooooo! I don't wanna believe it!

It was Neopan 400 for 120 earlier this year, and now LegacyPro 400 is gone as well?? What's next? Oh please don't tell me that's Arista Premium 400.

Very very Sad Thursday night here... 🙁

They still have Arista Premium 400 for now. I've already sent them an email asking if they will be restocking, but it seems like when they restock they still list the film on the site.

There are persistent rumours abound that Neopan 400 (135) is going to be discontinued which would mean dead end for LP 400 too. Rumours are of course just rumours until they are validated but Fuji as a company is not going to make it any easier by not commenting on anything that concerns their film production.

I get all that. Neopan is a very, very popular film in Japan, so I'd be surprised to see it discontinued in 135, but it is completely possible. I still have a heap of 120 Neopan 400 and I guess I need to stock up on 135 too, because once Neopan is gone I'll largely loose my desire to shoot B&W. Tri-X, TMAX, etc is so boring and everything else is too expensive.

LP 400 single rolls

LP 400 single rolls

they have plenty of single rolls left at the retail store. i just bought 20 rolls the other day. read somewhere they have 2 years worth of supply left.

Firstcall (UK) are still listing Legacy Pro - I found them and Legacy 400 a couple of months ago, so glad I did.

Maybe I should stock my freezer with a few dozen 100ft cans?

That's what they told me on the phone too a month ago, but why'd they remove them from their site?

neopan was discontinued a while back due to environmental issues/laws. i don't have all the jiggery pokery at my fingertips so you will have to go hunting/googlin' should you require more info.

Actually you are completely wrong. It is so irritating when people say stuff like this off the collar.

Neopan 400 in 120 and only in 120 was discounted because of an environmental issue with the anti-static backing.

arrgh! i just spoke to the call center sales rep, Legacy Pro 400 is discontinued by the manufacturer. Arista Premium is safe for now, same as LP 100....

..... GULP..... time to stock up
