Does anyone know the types of m39 Screw mount lenses Leica made in 1999? I have a 35mm Summicron ASPH and a 50mm Summicron with the collapsible shade. I have heard there are 50mm Summilux’s out there, but have never seen one.

The prices have sure increased since I got mine although that Summilux looks pretty amazing.

There were many fewer of the Summiluxes made if I recall correctly. Have always been the most spendy.

Often wondered how hard it would be to take the a thread mount junk lens and swap the mount with the M.

Leica makes excellent quality adaptors at a much lower cost then a swop.

Yeah, but you can't mount an M lens on a screw mount body. One has to swap out the mount on the lens.

I've met a few legit international models and most are quite friendly and approachable, lonely even. I think a sense of humor is more appealing to them and most people, just be yourself.
That said their agents are very possessive and if you dare suggest doing photos the models are obligated to refer you to these rather controlling people. In most cases they have the model's best interest and safety at heart but sometimes they are more akin to pimps.
I've been looking at the 1999 35 Summicron LTMs off and on eBay out of Asia. I can almost rationalize it but then I'd invariably get an M body to go with it and start down a road I rather not.

How accurate are Barnack rangefinders? Will that 50mm Summilux ltm focus accurately on an IIIf? How to fine tune the rf if you can’t stick a ground glass on the back like you can with an M?
