Hello All,

Would someone please identify the insertion points on the circuit board for each of the 4 wires (red, black, green, blue) that run from the meter and meter switch?

Thanks,
PC

Hi Pete,

did you get the schematics page from DAG? Any chance there is a higher resolution version or even more pages? I’ve been trying to find a service manual for a while, with no success.

How did you get the circuit board out? I’ve been halfway I guess, but wasn’t able to remove the matte black framing totally. Did you have to remove the shutter? Or even clip the wiring?

My CL has some pretty finicky wiring and always drops out at some point during the light-meter calibration process. Probably a loose contact or some broken wire. I’m also afraid the trimming-resistors will give up their ghost while trying to calibrate too many times.

I’d be thankful for any hints what you have done to your CL and the steps you took. Looks like you redid all the wiring?

All the best,

Alex

Faulty/inoperative meters in CL cameras is common. The easiest fix for a meter is the CV Meter ll in the hotshoe. Works on screw mount RF's as well! 🙂

Thanks for the hint. However, having an external meter takes away part of the appeal of such a tiny and handy to use camera.

The main incentive to fixing it is probably to fix something built before I wars actually born 🙂
