Leica CL takeup spool

Hi,

how easy is it to repair a broken takeup spool in a Leica CL? Are there any sources for original parts, or clever ideas on what they could be replaced with?

The easiest option would be to put in a slotted axle like in some of the later FEDs. Does the CL need the takeup spook to have a flange at the lower end? And does the CL's wind mechanism depend on the takeup spook having a specified thickness, or does it count eight revolutions of the sprocket wheel?

Easy to fix, need to buy the part from say Don Goldberg. Bottom of camera must come of, bushing removed and new part installed.
I can do it if you buy the part.
