Leica D-Lux 4 prices...

Just wondering if anyone knows why the Leica D-Lux 4 prices seem to of gone up? Even for the used ones. I currently have one that I love, and it's nice to know it's retaining it's value. Is it just because of the red dot?

I've been tracking the prices of the sister camera the Panasonic LX3 and over the last few weeks they seem to have fluctuated but I haven't noticed an upward trend.
