Hello all,
I know the Leica IXMOO is the latest version of the relodable Leica film cassette and the older screw mount FILCA styles are not compatible with the M series of cameras.
However, I was wondering if I could use the older style FILCA screwmount cassettes with other brands of cameras as if it were a generic relodable cassette? E.g my Canonet or various Nikon cameras?
Thank you!

No. The reloadables have a little plunger in them which rotates the blind and allows the film to be pulled smoothly. The Leica film baseplates have a cam built in to the backside of the open/close key, which depresses the locking plunger and simultaneously rotates the blind. The casettes are also slightly longer, so they may not fit into other cameras.

Both are great cassettes though and unless you want to keep a small cone shaped spring in your Leica kit, to push the modern 135mm cassettes up to keep the image free of the possibility of sprocket holes, these are the E ticket.
Watson 135mm bulk-loaders will load these and has a special design that will open and close the cassette, for/after loading.
Cheers
