Hi,
I'have just bought a Leica M7. I took some shot already. Currently, I am on a vacation now. When I tried to use it, I cannot press the shutter or wind the film. I haven't loaded the film yet. I replaced the new batteries already.
Please let me know if you have any idea what I did wrong.

Try activating the rewind lever and see if you can wind the film advance.

I didn't describe the situation right. When I turn on the camera, the switch cover the red dot, I can press the shutter down, but I cannot wind the winder. I tried with the rewind level. I put the film in, the rewind can unload the film but it didn't help with wind the film advance.

Sounds like a stuck advance lever, can you advance with base plate and film removed?

No, I cannot advance with even base plate removed.
