First a bit of background and then the questions. I started photography in high school in 1966 with a Speed Graflex. I paid my way through college and worked professionally as a newspaper photographer in the early 1970's. Since 1975, I have been a professional pilot and photography has been a hobby.

I presently use a Leica M4 (15/35/50/90) and classic Nikon F (24/55Micro/105/200) and just purchased a Canon S90. These were the cameras I wanted or used professionally. I find myself using the SLR more and more but not enough to get another system without trading or selling some or all of what I have. I have always wanted to try a Leicaflex SL/SL2. And just for fun let me know what you think about a R6/6.2

So the questions are: 1) Leicaflex SL vs SL2 vs R6-advantages and disadvantages. My impression is the R6.0 is more to the SL as a Nikon FM was to an F or F2. 2) Which lenses are must have and which are dogs. I prefer to carry two lenses vice any zooms. I would be looking for something in the 24-28mm and 85-105mm focal lengths.

I have only played with the SL a couple of times in the camera stores. I still do pretty good with focusing a SLR but was stunned at how easy the SL was compared to other SLR's. And I have never touched an R6 so how do they compare (again the reference to Nikon F vs FM).

I would probably sell both the M and F to reduce the equipment inventory and to finance the new system. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Rich
