Hello, I have a Leica M2 and everything seems great on it, the film advance is really really smooth, almost as if theres no resistance, its great.
However, sometimes when I use the advance, it can slip a little bit, like the advance is jumping slightly, its hard to explain. I don't think it has something to do with stripped teeth on a gear as its irregular and I can't repeat it.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Thanks all,
Alex

Is it earlier on during a roll of film? Sometimes my M2 does the same thing if the teeth are slipping on the film.
Also, what are your rolls looking like? Slipped gears will show slight overlapping of frames. Any of that?

it happens most with no film in the camera, I know this isnt really an issue but I know it shouldn't happen at all. With film in the camera, its pretty much random but much much rarer, I can go a few rolls before it happens again. Pictures on film seem good, but its still bothering me because it just shouldn't happen.
