I've had the lens for ages but it was packed away in some boxes that I finally opened yesterday after moving house a year ago. I've been wanting to try it on the 240 for ages ... I bought it about six years ago.

How do you find the handling on the 240?

Great camera ... since owning it every over digital camera I own has become secondary. I have a dozen OM lenses and with a $20 Chinese adapter and the Oly EVF I've been able to use the pick of them. I couldn't find the 50 1.2 in amongst the other lenses then discovered it was still mounted on my OM1.

Thanks for sharing Keith. How does that compare to the Sony a7 system when it comes to other brand lens usage, may i ask? I am using M9 and have the original a7. Just wonder if the 240 helps to simplify my system. Cheers!

I was considering switching to an A7 but in the end couldn't justify the expense for the advantages. One thing that is tedious about the 240 and EVF combo is the VF blackout after each exposure ... a second or so! Luckily I'm a fairly deliberate shooter so speed isn't really an issue but I suspect it annoys a few people. The OM lenses are the only non M mount ones I've used on the Leica so I can't really comment about others.
Occasionally I would like what the 240 offers but with a built in EVF ... and I like what I've seen from the Sony image wise.

The EVF blackout is horrible, as is the dreadful "clunk" after each shot. I hate it. I sold it. I only ever used it for "seeing" my ZM 25mm and in the end I purchased the dedicated viewfinder and zone focus. I was a little worried about shooting fast lenses wide open but focusing my 35 and 50 'Lux lenses is a breeze with the RF.
