Can any one tell me what my camera that has been with me (i have never used it) is worth? Camera: Leica M3-77373xx (note: not full # due to protection) DBP ERNST LEITZ GMBH WETZLAR GERMANY. GOOD CONDITION MISSING ONE PLUG ON BACK. Lens: Ernst Leitz Gmbh Wetzlar Elmar f=9cm 1:4 Nr. 11886xx (no lens cap). Light meter: Leica METER MC Metrawatt A.G. Nurnberg. bottom says #30640 made in Germany. Everything seems to work. timer,meter lens ect... the leather case is very worn missing top and strap, still screws into camera. thanks a bunch. Jenn

I think you have an extra digit in the serial number...

Another place to check for values is www.keh.com. You can look at both the prices they're selling at and use their online value gizmo to see what they'd pay you for the camera. Their grading is very conservative, which is important because condition matters a great deal. Something you might call EX+ they might grade only as EX or less. Also remember that their purchase values are geared toward the fact that they need to make money selling cameras they buy from you and me.
