Got a lovely one of ebay for £255 the other day - great price. Just run my first film through it. The camera works perfectly and is a delight to use. It's also a piece of history. To think this was made in 1955 but works better and feels nicer to use than many modern cameras.

Here's my gallery of photos of the beauty, and photos from my first film taken with it.

Yeah...I just got my first M ever; an M3 from a local user. Paid about the same as you once convert from Stirling. Really looking forward to using this new rig.

Congratulations all around...eh?

Congrats ! It's an early M3 like my one (SN 747****) and the viewfinder looks really good (opposed to my M3 which has been sent off for repair) Some nice photos in your gallery !

I have one too

I have one too

Looks nice

has the MC meter marked the top plate? - it has on mine

I have 742xxx converted from DS to Single

What scanner do you use for your B & W

Cheers

Thank you for the comments.

I assume it was a meter that markoed the top - it came like that (without meter) so I don't know. It's good enough condition for me though - any better and I would be too scared to take it outside!

I have recently bought the Nikon Coolscan V to scan B&W negatives. I am a beginner with the settings etc though still.
