Good afternoon.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to find value of the camera and lens there is also a lens hood ..good glass i did see they are expensive.

Im not sure if the lens us 1st edition. And unsure how to fond out

Thank you

If it's a 1.2 Noctilux, it's worth somewhere in the five digits easily. Maybe try giving Tamarkin Camera in Chicago a call, they can help you appraise it and also offer the ability to sell it through them (with commission of course). Ebay sold listings are also a good indicator, though with a high-ticket item like that, you may find it easier to connect with the right buyer through a camera auction like the one Tamarkin helps host.

If your lens actually has on it "Nutilux", it may be a fake Leica lens. If it states "Noctilux", it may be worth a lot of money. Which one is it?

I'm going to assume that it is a Noctilux since there's no info about Nutiluxes anywhere on google... and it's never been mentioned here. So, yeah...you've got yourself a rare and expensive lens... like others say, it is 5 digits in price. For instance they are currently for sale on eBay between $30,000-50,000. That's too high but at least it shows you what people are trying to get. The M4 if chrome is $1,000+...

You have yourself quite a pay day coming... :)
