Guys, I have some questions re Leica M6 TTL A la carte:

1) Do you think that USD 1560 for Leica M6 TTL A la carte with blue leather and blue leather strap is a fair price? Leica dot is black.

2) What is the year of manufacture, if the serial number is 2466xxx?

3) How much is viefinder upgrade for MP finder?

4) How to check if it is fake or not?

kind regards,
Alex

A la carte in 1998? I don't think so.

Perhaps a custom edition, but then it would probably have some engraving on it to say for what/who the commemoration was about. There was the Leica Historica M6 for instance with blue leather and red dot, and the top plate was covered with script.

I would suspect its a kitchen table job, especially with the black dot.

I've got an "A la Carte" Konica S2 w/ blue goatskin from Cameraleather.com--the likely source of the covering for the M6. 'Just a hunch.
