Is the Leica Minilux setting 'Slow Flash On' a fill-in flash mode that can be used day and night?

actually, i found that my minilux needs about +1.5 for flash shots on slide film. maybe that was just mine...

As the Minilux doesn't have a separate flash and ambient exposure compensation, I left the compensation at 0. But the pictures with fill flash came out really fine nonetheless. I guess it's because the Minilux uses the A=GN/distance rule to figure out how much it needs to fill, instead of relying on reflected light metering.

I wish they'd explain it better in the manual.
'Fill in flash' I can understand but 'Slow Flash On' not.
