Leica Motor M and re-usable Leitz cassettes

Can the Leica Motor M, attached to an M6 which can use re-usable Leitz brass film cassettes as standard, be modified to work with them? Or would it tear the film from the cassette, as it's only a push fit onto the spool?

I have four of the black-painted brass cassettes with the N engraving, and I'd like to be able to use them again for bulk film.
