leica OH 4 Medical Microscopes

Thought people might like to see the medical microscopes l work with, they are Leica OH 4 scopes, we also have OH 6 scopes too. They are mainly used for tumour excision sugery and part of my remit is to look after these beauties, (charge nurse practitioner), we also own two othe large medical Zeiss scopes

What is the routine for maintenance or a cla?

I've used Leica microscopes in semiconductor inspection opti-stations, but can't recall the model numbers.

Once a year service contract, not including parts, and all six microscopes get a daily diagnostic once over by myself at the start of the day

needless to say parts for the scopes cost an arm and a leg

Oh4 are quite old now but at 125,000 GBP a pop we tend to keep them until they run into the ground
