Leica Self Timer!!!!

An invaluable tool. I have a walz timer and use it whenever I'd like to avoid camera shake, on cameras that have no delay timer, or on cameras that the timer is simply jammed.

Had to take it apart and gently reinsert the rod / screws. Works A+!!! Gives 1 Min before shutter goes off. Kind of cool thing to have in the camera bag!! Cost 10.00 / Ebay!!!

1 min, wow! Mine does 15 seconds before tripping the shutter. Of course, it is not that accurate, but fair enough to avoid camera shake. Not to mention that it trips the shutter in much more smoothly than my finger. I think that it came with one of the cameras I bought, I don't remember.

I would say that nothing beats the Gitzo pneumatic selftimer :

I have one, bought for $5 at a photo fair in the 1990's. Now it seems to sell for a tad more... 😱

Perhaps it's an Autoknips with a Leica/Nikon/etc adapter on the end...
