here are some neg scans from today's walk to my town's heritage railway.
The Leicaflex is a real handful. Somehow it makes every exposure feel significant, like you are using a medium format camera.

Thank you Helen.

Looking at the results on the screen, there is an obvious problem with my scanning, because the pics don't look sharp at all, and they are, honest!

Yes, though some lenses can't be used on FF due to the larger mirror hitting the rear lens element.

Fotodiox and Leitax sell mounts (you have to change the lens' mount, not via an adapter), but it doesn't seem like particularly invasive surgery, just unscrewing the mount on the lens and swapping it.

My Leica SL feels like an authoritative tool in my hands. And even more with that reassuring and solid "cluck" sound as the shutter fires.

Here's some pics of mine with a 50 Summicron:

Nice shots in here. I remember my SL...loved how it felt while shooting. I was dumb enough to get rid of it (I didn't feel comfortable with its meter in low light...that shouldn't have mattered)

SL/SL2s are hefty cameras to be sure. The viewfinder is everything everyone says it is (and more). I don't have a Summicron-R 50 but I blow the blues away with a Macro Elmarit-R 60 :p
