How can you tell which is which? Also do they both fit on Leica CL without adapter? Thanks.

I've used the minolta rokkor, and the leitz summicron version. Both lenses are M mount, no need for an adapter. As I recall, each lens was clearly marked around the front element.
hope this helps.

Two ways:
- the older CL version has serial nr on the front ring, and a slanted RF cam.
- the newer CLE version has a flat RF cam, like the 35 Summicron, for instance.

The tab is an easy way to spot the difference between the 2 Rokkors. The first Rokkor has an identical tab to the Summircon C which is more rounded, the CLE Rokkor tab is more squared off.
