Just wanted to know your thoughts as to a Leica wide if it were down to the folowing lenses the 21mm, 24mm and 28mm I know that the RD-1 has the frames for the 28 but I currently have a 21mm Biogon(no use on the RD-1), 35mm,50mm and a 75mm on its way back from repairs, with haveing the other lenses, I'm tending to lean towards the 21mm or 24mm. I seem to be generally shooting with the 50mm most often with the RD-1, There have been a few occasions where I've wanted wider but the 35mm doesn't seem that different to the 28mm.
any advise or theorys as to which to go for ?
Thanks
Mike.

I'd go with the 21mm since it's "only" at 32mm film-FOV on the R-D1, which isn't all that wide to begin with (IMO). What I'd really like to see is an 18mm lens for the R-D1 as a "real" 28mm film-FOV equivalent, since the CV 15mm is a bit weak in terms of vignetting and slow aperture (for my own taste anyway, YMMV).

Cosina is actually coming out with a Voigtländer 18mm f/4 LTM lens later this year. My guess is the R-D1 provided at least part of the motivation.
