Hi, folks.
I'm a new GXR-M owner. Has anyone posted a table of lens correction settings for assorted lenses? I'm hoping I don't have to do it all by trial and error.
Update on 9/24/12: I think it's worth doing even though others seem to have verified that the fixes are applied only to JPGs. I will incline toward making corrections on the computer. However, I have settings "boxes" set up anyway, to record things like the lens name and FL in the metadata. So it seems sensible to put the lens corrections in there too, in case I would like to get some corrected JPGs out of this thing. I have also read one reviewer's opinion that corrections don't seem to be needed too badly. That's great to hear, but would still like more information.
So, if you have determined any corner, distortion, or color shading corrections for any lens, please share by replying to this note. No need for each of us to reinvent the wheel. Ricoh, are you listening? It'd be a nice piece of customer support to publish a list for common lenses, so we had starting points.
By the way, based on my first field use of the GXR, I am totally impressed and agree with all the praise I have seen here, starting with the image quality. It really seems to do justice to the lenses (finally).
