Lens Hood for 28mm f2.8 Zeiss Biogon

The Zeiss lens hood for the 28mm f2.8 Biogon turns out to be manufacturer's part #1365666, a vented lens hood for $84.00 U.S.D. They only offer it in a black finish. I want a chrome-finished lens hood to match my lens. Any other options?

Get the black one and sandblast it?

When I used to have the 28 Biogon, I never bothered with a hood. I thought it handled flare quite well without.
