Looking back over the years and counting up the number of M-mount or LTM lenses I have owned, I'm somewhat surprised to see the total is 29, of which I currently own about a dozen. These are 29 different lenses as I've not re-bought old ones I've used.

I've greatly enjoyed sampling such a wide range and now have settled down to a set I like and, mostly, use regularly. I've also done reasonably well in selling some lenses at more than I paid for them - the increase in the Noctilux alone continues to subsidise my purchases, though I think I'm pretty settled now.

How does this compare to others?

I've bought a total of 21 lenses in ltm- or m-mount:
25mm--1
28mm--1
35mm--5
40mm--2
50mm--9
90--2
135mm-1

I currently own:
28mm--1
35mm--2
50mm--2
90mm--1

I've liked all of them, but the impulse to try something new sometimes wins over. Of the six lenses I currently own, I think I could be happy w/ just one 35mm and two 50mm.

Currently 21 LTM 50s, Nikkors, Canons, Zeiss, Jupiters, Topcor, Yashinon, Voigtlander (and one lonely Summitar that I never use)
