Got a used lens on eBay last week, thought I'd go give it a test at a nearby park. It's kind of overcast and dreary here today, nice weather for shooting.
This is an chrome body M42 lens, kind of unusual. Has the usual pin for stop down, but it also has an auto/manual switch at the base, which was necessary for me since I shot this on an old Pentax *ist DL with an M42 to P/K adapter.

Here's the set. I mostly shot wide-open (f/1.8) or stopped down to f/8. I'm sure you can tell which is which. I see some vignetting but it looks like of nice, to be honest. Nice smooth creamy out-of-focus areas too. Maybe a tad overblown at f/1.8, but stopping down a couple clicks should fix that. I'll try that in the future.
