Lens Warranty Question

I purchased a 35mm Summicron from Bestcameraseller (9 Day Photography) out of Hong Kong. The lens arrived today and it''s beautiful. However, I noticed on the warranty card requires a stamp and signature of the seller. This space is blank. Does this mean my warranty is no good? Is this a "learning moment" for me regarding HK purchases?
 
In the United States I don't think you need to acutally fill out the warantee card to be covered by a US warrantee.

Where are you?

The good news is that the chances of needing warantee service on a lens should be very remote.
 
I live in the US. So, I just send the lens and warranty card in for any required service? That's good, even though I agree that it probably won't be necessary.
 
Things might work differently if it is an "international warranty".

I don't buy "gray market" equipment just to avoid any potential issues. But... I also have never needed warranty service on any camera equipment and I've been shooting since the early 1980s.

The warranty doesn't indicate country. Just name, address and seller stamp and signature. With Nikon, I never buy gray market because Nikon Service won't touch it.
 
Same situation with Hasselblad.

I wouldn't worry it if I were you. Have you ever heard/met anyone who needed warrantee service on a lens?

Well, I hate to say this, but I know many Canon shooters who have required warranty work on new lenses. One friend required 3 lenses before he got a good copy. :)
