Has somebody bought something from LFI International ( http://www.lfi-online.de/ )? What was your experience?
I ordered a thumbs up from them on the April 8th and never got it. I have tried to mail them several time with no answer back. My money is gone though..

I have bought books and the LFI Journal. Never had a problem. Not so nice that they didn't react on your mail. Where did you get the mail address from?

If e-mail does not work then you should try phone or snail mail. Probably they sent it away and it's a problem with the parcel service.

"This is my third email to you about this order with no reply. I have not recieved my order and I have not recieved any reply to my mail. I have posted my abysmal experience with LFI to every rangefinder forum I can find and will continue to update it until I get my money or the goods. "
Within two hours I recived this:
"Hello Kristian,
I'm so sorry for the delay, but the thumbs up is temporarilly not available.
It will be in stock again on may 25th. I hope it is ok for you?
Please accept my appology all the trouble concerning your order.
Thank you for your understanding!"
I have no trouble waiting, if I get informed. This was my fourth time I contacted them. It the previous mails I was just requesting the status, but today a lost my patience.
I hope I will get it in the end...

Tim Isaacs, who makes the Thumbs-Up, is indeed out of stock for the moment and expects another production batch to be available by mid-May.
But I agree that this is not a valid reason for LFI not to provide a status update...

Yes, a piece of metal that cost 100+ dollars. You might have money to throw away but I do not.
So, you would just forget it, if you payed 100 dollars for something and did not get it or get any reply when you ask politely what is the issue?

Yes Steelduck, give em hell... online venders need to be held accountable and forums are generally the best place to voice your experiences. Thanks to guys like you we all will get more reliable service.

Nothing to worry about. I ordered online with cc a Thumbs Up EP-1 on May, 3rd 2010 at LFI and got it yesterday May, 7th 2010. Perfect service. Give them a call and ask what´s going wrong.
And yes, its a musthave.
