Desperate but not serious
Hi,
I was looking into purchasing Micheal Christopher Brown's book "Libyan Suger" and when I looked it up Amazon was amazed at the used to new price. Does the much higher used price indicate earlier edition?

Looks like there only the one hardbound edition. The price difference is probably that of a small bookstore with high overhead costs, allocated just a few copies, priced to include some profit margin versus Amazon's high purchasing power where they can sell many things at cost (or even a small loss to be made up elsewhere).

Most of the new prices are around $85-150, while all the used prices are around $200.

None are signed, there is only one edition, non Amazon sellers are just out of touch with the pricing. This book is not considered rare.
Signed, the cost is only $115 at the Magnum store.
