LIFE, James Dean and Dennis Stock

I have been told that next fall in the US will arrive TIME a movie about the friendship between James Dean and Dennis Stock when he was uncharged to photograph James.

In the movie by Corbijn Stock uses Leicas - M3 and IIIc - but on old pictures Stock is seen with Contax and Nikon cameras. Are the Leicas in the film there on purpose?

The portrait of Stock, The Photojournalist, by Andreas Feininger shows him with a Barnack of some kind, but it may have been Feininger's camera, I suppose.

The bad news is that, as far as I can tell, LIFE is only showing in about 3 places in the entire US right now....the nearest is 500 + miles away !
