On my recently acquired Super Isolette there is a milky, wavy band at the very top of the frame right across it. The last roll, shot on bright day, I have also noticed some broader lines on the sides lower down. The bellows seem sound. I can't work out what it's from, is it from where the bellows attach or some sort of reflection, any ideas?
Thanks

Richard,
I am not the that knowledgeable when it comes to these cameras, but I have an Isolette III. In reading up before getting mine, I saw that Agfa folding cameras usually need a bellows replacement.
The good news is that this can be done and the Super Isolette is a really fine camera. I would send it to Juergan at certo6.com. If it turns out just to be where bellows meets body, all the better.

It is not unusual to see very light bands along edge(s) of the filmgate. Also observed this when part of the bellows is obstructing image and then light wavery band visible along the border of this obstruction.
Guess you don't have to worry about this. Just give a little bit more space around the subject that you are photographing.

Thanks Hans, it seems to be something like that which is what I thought. Also, I was just going through a batch of film shot on a Fuji 645W and all the frames there had a similar band on one side and that camera does not have bellows.

I also have the Super Isolette and I can not recall seeing this, is there a particular direction of light it is happening with?

I have this on 2 folders. Both have bellows replace by Certo6. I'm more in the reflection camp.
