Light Meter – which one?

I am looking for a light meter to be used with older rangefinder cameras. Nothing fancy is needed but a robust and fully functional light meter. A used unit is acceptable. If possible, I’d prefer one which can be mounted on hot-shoe.
Budget $75.

Voigtlander VC meters I & II are excellent (probably $140 used at least)

Plenty of non-battery operated meters for under $75 (Gossen Pilot)

I'd suggest looking for a used VC meter. It has been replaced by the VCII meter now but a used original will be closer to your price range and should work just fine.

I am aware of this model. I have been looking for a used VC Voigtlander for quite some time and could not find it.

I've more than once seen statements that the Leica 'add-on' meters aren't all that they're cracked up to be. The Voigtlander seems to have a better reputation. And anything used may need calibration to be accurate.
