Would like to upgrade
I was still in a quest for a new digital light meter and wanted a combo one that would do studio flash metering also. I recently made a purchase of another MF camera and the guy offered me a Polaris Flash/incident/ reflective digital meter. It arrived and it corresponds quite well to my old Norwood and to the meter on the Canon T90 being within a half stop.
It is not as small as I wanted but is still palm sized and quite thin. I like the fact that the shutter speed steps are in both the old 1/25 1/50 etc... along with the modern 1/60. It is aperture priority in that you select the shutter speed and it tells the aperture.
The readout is very intutitve and easily read even without my glasses. It also holds its reading allowing me to shine a light on it, in low light, to see the reading. It also remembers the last settings when you turn it off and on.
I am very impressed sofar by it and feel it will be a worthwhile investment
I am passing my old Norwood on to much younger eyes
