Light speckled film

Hi there,
I just scanned a roll of 120 XP2 film and found this odd speckle pattern over quite a lot of it.

Good in-date film (I think), processed at local lab. It’s certainly not dust, you can see little speckles in the negative itself. Not getting picked up by infrared dust reduction either.

Processing problem? Film storage problem? Any help much appreciated.

It might be spots from the fixer if you don't filter it (in particular if you reuse it for several films). If you think it is you can refix your film with a new batch.
