Hi
I just bought a Linhof Super Technika IV 6x9. I played around with it the last few days and noticed that between groundglass and rangefinder focus is quite a difference. I took some polaroid shots and the groundglass focus seems to be correct.
Is there any way of adjusting the rangefinder? The cam for the three lenses is the correct one and the serial no of the cam is the same as the one on the camera. The rangefinder is out over the whole range and the distance scale is only moving to ~ the 10m mark. Any sugestions would be much appreciated. I think this is a great camera and I would like to get it back to good working order. Thanks.

I always use my technika IV with the ground glas, so experience with the rangefinder.
Mayby this can help you> The manual states:
Make sure the cam inserted in the shoe matches the lens use and that the lens standard is at the correct infinity position. The camera back must be locked flush against the camera body and the lens board in zero position. (the multi focus rangefinder cannot be used with tilts and swings). Two images are seen through the rangefinder eyepiece, a direct image through the upper rangefinder aperture and a reflected image through the lower aperture . Turn the focussing knob until the direct and reflected image have become one . The lens is accurately focussed when the two images coincide in this manner. For consistently perfect results. look staight through the center of the rangefinder eyepice.

that all I have!
