What would be the legalities and technicalities of creating a "Links" category, so we can share all these cool sites, and give members a chance to archive them before they disappear? eg. The Kiev Survival site. I have found many obscure sites with priceless data and info on them, only to return via bookmark to find them gone. If I had downloaded the site to my hard drive-no problem. That's a great idea.

Perhaps an entirely new category isn't necessary, just a sticky in an existing category if only the link and a brief explanation were to be included.

I bookmark everything too, but half the time when I go back to these useful sites they don't exist anymore. Copying the site as an html on my drive would eliminate that problem. Also, some of these sites are so obscure a search engine will find them one day and not the next. Stu

Also, such an idea would make a nice community resource.

/considers hosting an RFF links list...

This is the same reason why I started the Rangefinder Blog/Site Ring:

I bookmarked so many of them but before long I couldn't find my way through them anymore, and reorganising them is a drag.

I figured the Rangefinder Blog/Site Ring was a good way of having an organised and easily searched (even randomly visiting is possible) place for all those photo blogs and websites.
