Striving
I've read of people having lots of problems loading film into bottom loaders. So I did a lot of practice with a sacrificial roll. Once I had that under control I thought - why do you need a long leader? I tried it with a standard leader. Seems to work ok!
Anyone else load their bottom-loader with a standard leader?

I loaded the IIf with a Kodak standard leader only to have the shutter jam up when advancing to "1". When cut to the longer length indicated on the camera, all went well. I think Joe had the same problem.

i tried it with a fed but that camera had a problem with the advance anyway.
it took a bit of work to load the ivsb but that was cause the pressure plate was stuck, after unsticking it there were no problems.
but from what i have read, i would cut a few rolls with longer leaders and not tempt the fates.
