I shoot a lot of wide angle lakeshore scenes really close to the water level and also shoot wide angle from a kayak - again close to the water line. I haev been using a Sony F828 with the tilt-body and this has worked just fine for this purpose.
I just got an M8 and was wondering if there was any kind of accessory finder available that would allow me to maintain several inches to a foot of eye relief while composing and shooting. In most cases it is very difficult for me to get really low to the ground to look through the finder and in some case (viz., from the kayak) it is impossible.
I beieve that the Leica angle finder is designed more for close ups where the eye is close to the finder eyepiece. I am aware of the AUFSU family of finders but they are in nutcase collector price ranges.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
