Looking for someone with more money than sense

There is a whole bunch of gear and accessory for collectors out there and they actually don't practice the photography. Freud has somewhere a chapter dedicated to these sort of people I guess. :)
 
So, I couldn't help myself and emailed him asking if there was perchance a bit of glue in his atmosphere? Well, he replied, and simply stated he'd start high and deal with the responses or offers as they came. Fair enough,he got our attention didn't he ? Peter
 
I wonder if the strange asking price translates to one million yen?

I think he's just having a little fun. If you look at his other items he's at market price. I sort of admire his sense of humor. He probably got that case in the bottom of a box of other stuff.
 
You'd think he'd offer free shipping at that price. Actually, I think he's looking for a collector without a brain. Very funny listing. LOL!

We only paid a few thousand more for our fully furnished 2 bdr,, 2 bth mobile home w/ Florida room, central a/c, king size beds, 10 minutes to the beach.......or, I could have bought a camera lens case. Hope I didn't make the wrong decision.
 
I have the left two in the front row. Only eight more to get! I bet I can get them all total for a lot less than the seller is asking for that one.

And I still have—and use— my original brown leather cases for my 35mm., 105mm.,and 50mm.f/2 S mount Nikkors.

Such hidden wealth!

But I shall continue in my folly of actually using them.
 
First world stupidity. People are still starving in many parts of the planet and clean drinking water is a rarity in many places.

But yes ... some bonehead 'will' probably pay the price for this piece of folded, stitched leather! :(
 
People are free to do what they want. And other people are free to laugh at them for doing so.
