Last weekend I picked up the G2 after a couple months playing around on the ZI. Also stuck with the 90mm, as I haven't used it in several months.
I gotta say, that lens is spectacular!
Also had a chance to try out some agfa vista 200 (walgreens studio 35, made in germany). The results.. woah. Go figure I finally find a low-cost print film I really like and it's discontinued, pffffft.
However.. does it look almost digital to you? Sorry for the cheesy family shot, but it shows the sharpness and color well. Just a straight scan in NikonScan (vuescan had trouble getting color balance with the film).

Jano: Thanks for that nice example of the 90mm's look. I have the 45mm on a G1 and have found that the G gives me a better percentage of "keepers" from a roll of film than my other film cameras. Obviously, now, I need a 90mm.

Volker, nice shot. Eryximachos that 45 is a great lens, but I find the "normal" focals like 45 and 50 to be tough. Anyway, one of my favorite 90 shots was on the first day I got my new used G2. It's a bit tricky to focus sometimes, and can be noisy, but when it works, it is great.

This is my favorite 90mm shot. Taken at the G-Move in Hamburg 2003 on Sensia 100. It was a very bright day so it was stopped down but I didn't keep notes.
