I just obtained a Visoflex IIa to use with my IIIf. In order to firmly attach it to the body it rotates just a bit past vertical. Is it possible to rotate the threaded mount ring on the Visoflex to adjust for this? Or is there another solution?

On the screw mount Viso 11 housing there are 3 screws that need to be slackened on the side of the screw mounting ring.

I would assume the 11a version is the same.

That's what I thought must be the likely solution. Thanks for the confirmation!

I'm always happy to hear that other diehards are using Viso's on their Leicas !

Very underrated and still very usable pieces of equipment, enabling the use of the excellent Telyt lenses and nowadays obtainable very cheaply.

What's not to like... ?

Well, I'm totally new to the Viso experience. We'll see how it goes. My first impression, after just a few hours use yesterday, is pretty good - as long as one is not in a great hurry. I do look forward to getting one on the Telyts soon (200 or 280… not sure yet) And with the focusing mount + 90mm lens head, it's nice to have infinity focus and pretty nice close-focusing built in. Yeah, pretty cool so far...
