I am lubing the focus helix of my collapsible Summicron. At first the lens was stuck at infinity and the focusring didn't come of. So I warmed up the ring (I guess melting old lubricants) and then was able to take off the focussing ring.
As a relube I used silicon grease. However using that I couldn't get the focussing ring back on (only a tiny bit). So I guess silicon grease is not the way to go.
Can I use something else like graphite (perhaps mixed with some oil?).
thanks
