Luigi Case on a Leica CL?

I've purchased Luigi's Straps over the years and have been totally happy. I have recently acquired a Leica CL 50 Jahre in collectible condition, but I plan to use it along with my other CL.

I've heard great things about the Luigi cases, but have also heard along the way that it causes 'wear marks' on the body where the case rubs.

Is that true? If so, perhaps I can use it on my regular CL and not the special edition one.

Any comments?
