Has anyone tried the new 14mm lumix lens with an optical 28mm finder like the Voigtlander? I use the 40mm Voigtlander with the Lumix 20mm lens and its ok, not very accurate but good for when the LCD is washed out by daylight or I just want to have the camera to my eye. Is the 28 finder a good match for the 14mm?

The 28 finder is as good a match for 14mm as a 40mm finder is for 20mm. In both cases the view is about right except that the frame proportions are off... The Lumix picture is 4:3 proportions while the viewfinders are 3:2 unless you use one made for M43 use...

I've been using the Pansonic EVF with my GF1. I like that I can see the framing properly and check focus as well. Worth considering if you can find it on sale...

I've been using the round, metal 35mm Voigtlander finder with the 20mm. Camera set to 3:2 ratio. This finder does not block the flash.

The other day I was contemplating getting a 21/25mm finder for my 7-14 Lumix when I realized I'd be able to see little but the lens. 14mm pancake should work OK, though.

The Lumix EVF is really not that much bigger than an optical finder. I tried both and prefer the EVF for its precise framing.
